Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are continually improving our site to meet and exceed these standards.

Spa Team International is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We have an active remediation program in place.

Measures We Have Taken

• Skip-to-main-content link available on every page for keyboard users
• All interactive controls include descriptive aria-labels for screen reader compatibility
• Form fields are properly labeled and linked with htmlFor / id associations
• Multi-step forms use aria-current='step' to indicate progress to assistive technology
• Multi-select toggle controls declare role='checkbox' and aria-checked state
• Hero carousel controls are labeled 'Previous slide' / 'Next slide'
• Decorative images are marked aria-hidden to avoid noise for screen readers
• Mobile navigation button announces its expanded/collapsed state via aria-expanded
• Error messages are announced via role='alert' for screen reader users
• The entire site uses semantic HTML5 landmarks: header, nav, main, footer
• html lang='en' is declared on every page
• Footer contact phone and email are proper clickable links
• Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA requirements on primary content

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

• Some third-party embedded widgets (booking calendar) may not meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
• Framer Motion animations do not yet fully respect prefers-reduced-motion; we are adding this in an upcoming release.
• Some lower-opacity decorative text on dark backgrounds may have contrast ratios below 4.5:1; this affects non-essential visual flourish elements only.

Assessment Approach

Spa Team International assessed the accessibility of this website through self-evaluation and manual code review against WCAG 2.1 criteria. We use screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard navigation checks as part of our QA process.
